Emergent Capitalism™
Changing the narrative around capitalism and its relationship with the natural world.

My Journey
My perceptions have evolved from my own experience and story, including years navigating the gap between what movements claim and what they practice, and witnessing how those who claim to reform capitalism often replicate the very hierarchies and extractive culture they critique.
A walk in Acadia National Park in Maine was a particular catalyst in my journey. Acadia was "my jungle" for a few years. Unlike the current "law of the jungle" of capitalism, the law of the natural world jungle is:
Regenerative, not extractive
Seeks equilibrium, not more
Competitive while cooperative
Self-correcting and healing
Complex while benevolent
Inspirational and inclusive
Like all human beings, I have experienced personal challenges. I believe our systems, capitalism in particular, need transformation. And it is our shared experiences that connect us. Part of my story is that I did not listen to my own story and purpose for many years.
Mother Nature in places like Acadia National Park and Richmond Park in London were partners in helping me find clarity. As part of the human species whose "stewardship" has caused devastation to the natural world I feel an obligation to do my very small part in giving back to, not extracting from, the source of all that sustains us. We need to heal capitalism to heal the planet.

The Vision
Why don't we have a generative and distributed capitalist system that creates wealth for the many, not the few? One where everyone has enough, and no one needs more.
The answer is not more manifestos. It is not more movements that replicate the hierarchies they claim to disrupt. It is building market-based proof that a different approach works.
Capitalism is heading towards a cliff. While climate change is humanity's cliff. The dominant form of wealth creation currently being practiced in the global system today is a top down only form of corporatism, that blocks a bottom up form of capitalism. This underlies the crisis in the capitalistic system. And only capitalists can disrupt capitalism. Transformed and aware capitalists.
I believe only transformed and disruptive bottom-up capitalists can recalibrate and transform capitalism. To begin that journey, such capitalists must rediscover what capitalism forgot. And discover one another.
Join Me
Transformation begins with finding one another. If the thinking on this page resonates, this is an open invitation to explore what becomes possible when the right people connect around a shared purpose.
I am not looking for more conversation about transforming capitalism. I am looking for the people who are ready to do it, through curating, connecting and convening original thinkers, entrepreneurs, investments and investors who need to find each other, and linking them together through their own unique story.
Bottom-up, not mandated from above
All belong and benefit
Regenerative for a habitable world
Shared values
Embedded trust
Shared revenue and equity
Digital scalability
Create a natural systems approach investment fund that changes the way money behaves and invests. Beginning with water as the first proof of concept, building from the outside and bottom-up
The Goal
Change the narrative, and broaden the purpose, of capitalism. One story at a time. Stories of purpose curated, convened and connected through common organizing principles.
This is not about manifestos or abstract ideas. It is not about movements that perform transformation while reproducing the same power structures.
It is about doing, through curating, connecting and convening original thinkers, entrepreneurs, investments and investors who need to find each other, and linking them together through their own unique story.
